old-boeditCarl “Chef Bo” Ferrara started Ferrara’s Sausage Company with the idea of continuing the legacy started by his family. He uses both his family’s original sausage recipes as well as recipes he developed himself. Chef Bo uses only the finest ingredients in his homemade sausage, as he believes we should all be eating something good!

The Ferrara family started making Italian sausage in Saratoga Springs, New York in 1932. Today sausage is made the same way using all-natural casings and only high-quality fresh pork or chicken. Made with all-natural ingredients, there are no additives, MSG, or nitrates.

After leaving New York over 30 years ago to pursue his passion of working in the culinary field, Chef Bo worked 18 years as a Chef and Manager for Sodexo in Florida. As a true New York Italian, he knows what real Italian sausage should taste like and was finding it almost impossible to buy in Florida. That’s when Chef Bo decided it was time to take matters into his own hands. To the delight of his friends and family, his passion and commitment had him spending all his free time making the best homemade sausage they’ve tasted.

Today, Ferrara’s Sausage Company, LLC is a dream come true as Chef Bo combined both his family’s original sausage recipes and the sausage recipes he developed himself into a business. He has also incorporated some of his family’s favorite dishes into his product line. His products are sold in local markets and available for delivery.
